KAYAKING

The 1000 Islands is a very fine place to kayak, offering beauty and variety for kayakers of all levels. Small channels, rocky shores and broad vistas allow for different possibilities at your own pace.

Guests may arrange for a kayak tour of the area. The tour and it's length will depend on the ability of the kayakers, their interest in the natural history and culture of the River, and the weather.
We can accompany kaykers who bring their own boat, on a tour of the area. We also have a number of kayaks for tourers to use during guided daytrips.

An excellent lunch and dinner may be provided as well, en route amongst the islands and at the Amaryllis.
